About the event
Tarot for Creative Thinking
Join Tarot Teacher Brea Hayes for a weekend retreat to learn how to use Tarot as a tool to harness your creative energy. This retreat is great for folks who work in creative professional fields as well as those who dabble in creative passion projects and side hustles. You are welcome to bring a particular project to focus on or use freetime for expansive self-reflection.
This retreat is tailored to those with little or no tarot experience.
The weekend program includes 4 interactive 2 hour sessions with Brea,
daily guided meditations, unstructured quiet time to journal and work on personal projects, continental breakfast and snacks both days, lunch on Saturday, Bonfire Saturday evening (weather permitting).
You will leave with:
An understanding of both the Major and Minor Arcana and how to use Tarot cards
Spreads and Writing Prompts focused on the creative process
Informational Workbook
Certificate of Completion

About the Facilitator:
Brea Hayes lives with her partner and pets on the Fox River in Batavia, Illinois. In her career she has dedicated herself to social justice causes through theater, teaching, facilitation, activism and storytelling. She is a former shop owner currently finding new ways to channel her creativity into making art, homegoods and tasty food. Brea believes that tarot is an accessible tool available to anyone, and is passionate about teaching others how they can dive in and put the practice to use.
