We started the adventure - bringing wood, platforms and other stuff up from Chicago. It took longer than you would expect, so things were wrapped up to continue the next weekend.
The wood and pebbles and patio stones were ordered and picked up, all weighing much more than you would expect because of all the rain. And the heat - can we talk about the heat? (See below) The platform frame got built, the truck got stuck in the mud, and the fun will continue the week of July 7.
Work continued last weekend and posts went up, four pictured but with eight in all. Work will continue on the 22nd.
